Development Manager’s Update - September 2017

Finally Spring has come around! As home constructions continue across The Grove Stage 1 & 2, we've seen Stage 3 register in the last month. We also received subdivision certificate for Stage 4 and have lodged this for registration with the Land and Property Information Office only a few days ago. We look forward to seeing the final stage of The Grove registered next month!

This however isn't the conclusion to The Grove though as we proud to announce that the parkland works have commenced this month. The park will include exciting features such as a flying fox, refurbished mining man cars, play tower, nest swing, bubblers, BBQ sets, Shelters and a boiler! The park draws inspiration from the nearby Wongawilli Coal mine owned by Wollongong Coal limited who have kindly donated mining artefacts for use at the park. We aim to deliver this amenity early next year for all to enjoy.

We are also pleased to announce that the DA for our medium density development on Lot 129 at The Grove has been lodged. Plans for Lot 129 will be provided at the sales office in the next few days but can be viewed on Council's website during the exhibition period.

Over at The Ridge, Stage 6 is almost complete with an intention to reopen the full length of Smiths Lane by the end of October. At the final stage of The Ridge, Stage 7, the bulk earthworks are 95% complete and sewer works 75% complete. We anticipate that Stage 7 will be finished by Mid-December.

The DA for our final precinct of Vista Park, The Vale, is progressing through the approval process with Council. Keep an eye out for more updates on this and more in next month’s issue.
