Sales Method Announced for First Release at The Ridge - (29 April 2015)

In response to one of the most frequent questions we have been receiving recently we are pleased to announce the sales method for the very first release of lots at The Ridge. There has been a high level of interest and enquiry received for Vista Park so in determining the method of sale for this first release Sheargolds has given careful consideration as to which sales method would be the most fair and equitable to all interested parties.

The method selected as meeting these criteria is a ballot system allocated at random to give all registered parties equal chance of purchasing a block. The process will occur over a five week period before the official sales release weekend as outlined below:

Week 1: Emails will be sent to all parties registered on the database to confirm their desire to purchase in this first release. This email will include a price guide confirming the range of prices for the first release.

Week 2 - 3: During weeks 1-3 parties with confirmed interest will be invited to make an appointment to inspect the blocks available in the first release with the Landlinx sales team at the newly opened sales and information centre. At this appointment sales documentation including the Contract for Sale of Land will be provided and your entry into the ballot will be confirmed with the sales representative.

Week 4: The random ballot allocation will occur and the successful parties will be advised of their position in the ballot by email. This email will include the sales appointment time for the following weekend, a list of the documents and cheque that you are required to bring and will include the non- negotiable price list for the lots.

Week 5:  The Official Sales Release will commence at 9 am on the Saturday morning of the fifth week at which time the successful parties will be able to attend their appointment and exchange contracts on the block of their choice. As each lot is sold, a Stock Board will be updated prior to the next purchaser’s appointment. This process will continue until all lots are sold, once this occurs purchasers with outstanding appointments will be so advised.

We understand that as this initial release is only 14 lots and that some people will be left disappointed however all approvals have already been received for construction of the following stages at The Ridge and these future stages will be developed and released in accordance with market uptake.

Regretfully we are unable to confirm the exact release date due to recent delays caused by the heavy rainfall however you can read the latest Development Managers update for the latest on construction progress. We do however envisage this release occurring in June/July 2015 to coincide with the opening of the Coral Vale Homestead sales and information centre as well as the reopening of Smiths Lane.
