The immaculately designed Wongawilli project will commence construction immediately as the contract for Civil and Subdivision Works has already been awarded to Menai Civil Contractors. Menai have undertaken several large construction projects in the Wollongong area recently and in doing so have established a reputation for quality civil construction.
Preliminary infrastructure works for the project will involve the creation of a temporary sealed access road from Wongawilli Road to Smiths Lane. This will enable the completion of road widening and refurbishment to Smith Lane as well as the construction of a new Smiths Lane Bridge over the existing natural creek. The new bridge will provide flood free access to the future residents of Vista Park and the current residents living in Wongawilli.
In conjunction with these major infrastructure improvements the subdivision works for the first release will also be completed. Every block at Vista Park will be connected to water, sewer and electricity as well as high speed NBN.
