Development Manager’s Update - April 2021

Welcome to the April 2021 edition for Vista Park!

The last month has seen construction at The Vale Stage 1 inch closer to practical completion all thanks to the hard work of the construction team and some favourable weather. There has been substantial progress on the large retaining wall along Roy Sheargold Avenue which also allowed for kerb and gutter to be installed. We can now lay finish to the road construction and beautify the site with landscaping. By the next update we expect to have all asphalt, street trees and retaining walls complete. This is an exciting yet busy period but we are very keen to roll on to the next couple of stages of the development.

In terms of The Grove Town Houses, frames, brickwork and roof trusses are well underway with roofs coming very soon. Having the roofs on the dwellings will mean that internal works can continue come rain or shine.

Last but not least, at the Homestead, the childcare centre and cafe now have the slab installed, frames and roof trusses. We look forward to working with the future tenants of these assets with a view to deliver these boutique amenities to the Vista Park community. We are in final negotiations with a prospective tenant that will bring to life a new Cafe, General Store and Discovery garden and convert the heritage listed Dairy Shed into an eatery that seeks to also serve the Community by providing locally sourced goods and produce.

That's all for now - be sure to stay tuned for the May 2021 Vista Park update!
