What is The Vista Park Priority list?

The Vista Park Priority List is our way of managing the sales of the last remaining home sites at Vista Park.  Due to the increasing level of demand for home sites at Vista Park and that the upcoming stages are the last stages of Vista Park we wanted to put in place a system that gives everyone a fair chance to purchase a home site.

What are the Vista Park Home Sites?

Of the 61 lots yet to be released for sale at Vista Park:

  • 4 (lots 618, 619, 620 and 621) will be sold at a public auction
  • some lots will be available to be purchased via our preferred builders as house and land packages
  • the remaining lots (about 46 in total) will be sold to people on The Vista Park Priority List – these lots are the Vista Park Home Sites

We will release the Vista Park Home Sites in groups of about 10 at regular fortnightly intervals.

What is The Vista Park Priority List?

The Vista Park Priority List is a list of people who have registered on the Vista Park Database and confirmed they still wish to purchase a homesite in the final releases as well as then having responded to the email opening the positions on the list and finally having paid the fully refundable initial deposit.

The order in which people are added to The Vista Park Priority List (on a first come first served basis), sets the order in which the Vista Park Home Sites are offered.  For example, if you are Number 1 on The Vista Park Priority List then you have the choice to select any of the Vista Park Home Sites.  If you are Number 2, you can select from the remaining Vista Park Home Sites, and so on.

To ensure that as many people as possible have a chance of securing a Vista Park Home Site, we are imposing a couple of conditions. 

Firstly, entries on The Vista Park Priority List are restricted to ONE PER HOUSEHOLD.  As each entry on The Vista Park Priority List equates to one chance to secure a Vista Park Home Site this will help us make sure as many households as possible have a chance to secure a Vista Park Home Site. 

Secondly, entries on The Vista Park Priority List ARE NON-TRANSFERRABLE.  That is, you cannot secure a place on The Vista Park Priority List and then ask that it be transferred to someone else.  Similarly, the person on The Vista Park Priority List, must be named as a purchaser on the contract for the purchase of a Vista Park Home Site.

Lastly, only purchasers wanting to purchase a Vista Park Home Site for NON-COMMERCIAL PURPOSES are eligible to join The Vista Park Priority List.  If we consider that you are a builder, property advisor or broker etc we reserve the right to refuse to add you to the The Vista Park Priority List.

What about House & Land Packages?

House & Land Packages in Vista Park will only be available through our preferred builders.  House & Land Packages are not included in the Vista Park Home Sites.

How do I get added to The Vista Park PRIORITY List?

The process is simple:

  1. At about 8:00pm on Wednesday 8 June 2022, we will send an email to everyone who has expressed interest in buying a Vista Park Home Site.  That email will contain a unique link to a form for you to complete and submit.
  2. Once you get that email you will need to click on the unique link in that email, fill out all of the required details and hit ‘submit’.  Our system records the time that each submission is made.
  3. One of our friendly sales team will contact you to confirm your name and contact details, ask a couple of questions to make sure that you are eligible and that we have all the information we need about you and to provide our trust account details.  Our sales team will be working through submission in the order that we receive them – please wait for us to contact you.
  4. If you are one of the first 50 people to submit your details, you must pay an initial deposit of $2,000, your Priority Deposit, by EFT to our trust account.
  5. You must then send an email to info@vistapark.com.au with evidence that you have paid the Priority Deposit (e.g. screenshot, payment record etc) together with photo identification.
  6. Only once your Priority Deposit is received in our sales agent’s trust account, will your position be confirmed and our sales team will add you to The Vista Park Priority List and email you to let you know.

What happens to your Priority Deposit?

Your Priority Deposit will be held in our sales agent’s trust account.  If you decide to proceed with the purchase of a Vista Park Home Site your Priority Deposit will form part of the 10% deposit payable by you prior to exchange of contracts.

If you decide not to proceed – for any reason whatsoever, including that you simply change your mind – we will refund your Priority Deposit to you.

What if I change my mind and I no longer want to purchase a Vista Park Home Site?

If you decide, at any time prior to exchange of contracts, that you no longer wish to purchase a Vista Park Home Site, please let us know by sending an email to us at info@vistapark.com.au and we will get in touch with you to arrange to refund your Priority Deposit to you.

What happens once I am on The Vista Park PRIORITY List?

Once you have been added to The Vista Park Priority List we will send you an email:

  • confirming that you are on The Vista Park Priority List and letting you know your ranking on The Vista Park Priority List, that is your Priority Number
  • with a link to our File Manager system where you can view and download all contract documentation (you can also share this information with your solicitor or conveyancer).

As we release Vista Park Home Sites for sale, we will send you a further email with details of the Vista Park Home Sites being released (including prices).

Passing

If you have your eyes on a particular lot that is not in the current release you can hit ‘pass’ in the email but still keep your spot in The Vista Park Priority List.  For example, if you are Number 1 on The Vista Park Priority List and wish to purchase a Vista Park Home Site that is not in Release 1, you can pass andyou will have first pick of the Vista Park Home Sites in Release 2.

Deadlines

For The Vista Park Priority List to work for all buyers we are setting the deadlines – if you don’t meet a deadline and we don’t hear from you we will take it that you no longer wish to buy a Vista Park Home Site at this time and we will remove you from The Vista Park Priority List and then get in touch with you to refund your Priority Deposit.

Other terms and conditions

  1. Only 1 purchasing party is counted. For example, if a couple are buying, they will not be able to split into two separate positions thereby filling up additional slots to improve their chances.
  2. Participants will only be able to register using the online system. Vista Park does not guarantee that all participants who register using the online system will be successful in the selection.
  3. Vista Park does not guarantee that your preferred lots will be available for purchase by you on the Sales Release Day. Opportunities to purchase will be allocated in order of the Priority ranking only.
  4. The provision of a Contract for the Sale of Land does not create any legally binding obligations between Vista Park and a participant.
  5. Vista Park will not be responsible for non-delivery of electronic communications or timeliness of email delivery.
  6. To the extent permitted by law, Vista Park, its related entities and trusts, its advisors and agencies associated with the sales process, and all of their officers, employees and contractors, are not liable and do not accept any responsibility for:
    1. Any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission or communications line failure that may result in a participant’s registration not being properly submitted, received or processed,
    2. Any incorrect or incomplete information which may be communicated in the course of the sales process, or
    3. Any loss, cost or expense incurred by a participant in connection with the sales process.
  7. If any issue or dispute arises in relation to the sales process, Vista Park may make a decision regarding the issue or dispute in its sole and absolute discretion. Vista Park’s decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
