Heritage listed Coral Vale Homestead, having undergone full restoration, is now gearing up for its new life as the Vista Park Sales and Information Centre with the internal fit out and the external landscaping works nearing completion.
The furniture was architecturally designed to reflect the historic nature and materials of the homestead interior. A craftsman with international experience in the reproduction of antique furniture was then selected to construct the custom designs. The wood is of Tasmanian Oak and has been finished with a hand waxed surface
Externally post and rail fencing will be used to honour the sites rural pedigree and a drainage channel has been engineered to take overland rain flow away from the foundations of the homestead. To gain access over this drainage channel a footbridge has been constructed which meets the homesteads verandah from the car park.
With the first release of the Ridge drawing nearer and nearer we look forward to welcoming you to this charming building in August when the Sales and Information Centre is expected to officially open.
