Welcome to the February 2022 update!
In February the delivery team progressed installation of services in the road reserve. Electrical, telecommunication and gas conduits have been installed in Tharawal Drive and Garreira Road in preparation for reticulation. Installation of conduits will soon continue into Dabroo Circuit and Wonjandal Way as we look to complete servicing of the Stage. All roads have been shaped up with kerbs and gutter laid along the entire stage.
Glennos, our contractor currently completing The Vale Stage 4, has let us know that some people have been entering the site. While Stage 4 is advancing quickly, it is still a construction site and people entering the site are putting themselves at risk. The site should not be accessed without approval from us or Glennos. We understand that you are all keen to see The Vale Stage 4 complete (so are we!) but please hold tight and we will let you know as soon as you, your builder and your valuer can safely access the site
The creek regrading, shaping and rock revetment works are now well progressed. Rock revetment is a way of absorbing the force of creek in full flow by installing large rocks or boulders. The revetment prevents, or lessens, erosion along the creek embankment particularly while the new vegetation establishes.
On the north-eastern end of the site, the concrete sediment basin has been fully formed up, while the wetlands that forms part of the water treatment system has been shaped up. Next, the team will install specific topsoil on the batter before planting macrophytes.
We look forward to providing you with another update next month. See you then!
