Development Manager’s Update - July 2023

Welcome to the July 2023 update!

The Vale Stage 4

After a significant amount of dedication and hard work, Stage 4 of The Vale at Vista Park registered at the end of June and sales of home sites in Stage 4 settled in July.  Everyone here at Sheargold would like to welcome to our newest residents! We are so excited to have you as part of the Vista Park community.

In more good news, the wetland works are virtually complete with landscaping well progressed.  As part of this stage, the former Illawarra Harbour and Land Corporation (IHLC) railway line that previous traversed the eastern part of the site will be commemorated by a heritage interpretation area. This important work is currently underway and will be unveiled in the coming months.

The Vale Stage 5&6

Helped by a recent run of good weather, the delivery team has managed to make some great progress on Stages 5 and 6 in recent weeks.  At this point in time, it looks like both Stages 5 and 6 will reach practical completion within a few weeks of each other in August.

Asphalt has been laid on most of the roads with the Stages transforming the appearance of the site significantly.  Drinking water infrastructure is now being installed throughout.  The construction of footpaths is well advanced across both Stages.  Here’s hoping the good weather holds for the next few weeks as the delivery team march towards practical completion.
