Development Manager’s Update - March 2023

Welcome to the March 2023 update!

The Vale Stage 4

A mostly sunny and dry March has allowed the delivery team to forge ahead with Stage 4 construction.

The services are all but complete with just the connections to the existing infrastructure to go (these always tend to take a bit longer). A new 2m wide footpath has been installed along the north side of Dabroo Circuit overlooking the riparian corridor and wetlands. Speaking of which, works in the riparian corridor are also coming along nicely.  With scour protection now laid we have instructed the landscape team to mulch and revegetate  the area over the coming weeks.  Lastly, all the roads got a makeover this month - a layer of asphalt.  These photos don’t do it justice!

The Vale Stage 5&6

Stages 5 & 6 are coming along very nicely.  The wastewater infrastructure is now completed on both Stages 5 and 6 and connected into Stage 4.  The stormwater drainage works are fully installed at Stage 5 and are progressing swiftly in Stage 6.  In more good news, the recent sunshine and dry weather has allowed the team to commence work on the retaining walls across the entire site. There has also been considerable progress made to the riparian corridor.  As mentioned in the Stage 4 Update, scour protection has been laid and we have instructed the landscape team to mulch and revegetate  the area over the coming weeks.
