Welcome to the May 2023 update!
With the end of Autumn fast approaching, the team was busy dotting the “i’s” and crossing the “t’s” to make sure we are in a good position to register Stage 4 in June. In early May, an application for the Stage 4 subdivision certificate was lodged with Council. The application includes the final deposited plan documents (DP Documents) which will ultimately be lodged for registration at the Land and Registry Service (LRS). As we mentioned previously, the DP Documents have been pre-examined by LRS which will mean the plan will register within days of being lodged instead of weeks.
On the back of achieving practical completion last month, the delivery team is working onsite to ensure that all loose ends on site are closed out, including completion of the wetland.
Other small items such as street signs, wetland pits, culverts and headwalls, as well as two small sections of footpath are on track to be completed before the anticipated registration in June. We are eagerly awaiting the issue of the subdivision certificate!
With Stage 4 construction all but done and dusted, our delivery team have directed all resources to Stages 5 and 6. As a result, the retaining walls and stormwater drainage for both stages have been completed. This is a significant component of the project. Service crossings through the future road reserves have also been completed. The landscape team is gearing up to commence planting of the wetlands and are scheduled to start in June.
We look forward to providing you with another update next month. See you then!
