Development Manager’s Update - ( 24 April 2015 )

This month has seen some trying site conditions due to the April weather. Although the site has fared quite well considering the degree of rain, and construction has pushed on.

The latest bridge construction picture attached. The piers are rising from the creek bed and the walls of the northern bridge abutment have concrete poured. From here on, the piers will be topped with a concrete headstock, and the southern abutment will also be formed and ready to accept the new deck. More photos to come next month.

Elsewhere on the site, the protection from weather has been a priority. Heavy rain flow has been diverted from construction areas where possible and more hydro seeding has been placed on the banks. This grass cover will complete these areas and close out the areas from construction. We welcome the expected sunshine this week to help with the new growth.

In the coming weeks we will have the landscaping crews start on site, planting the streets and creek areas. The construction of the streetscape will also be a primary focus to present some pristine allotments inside The Ridge precinct coming in the next two months. Watch this space!
