Welcome to the August 2021 update!
Due to government restrictions, construction works at Vista Park were paused for a period of time in July. Since resumption, the delivery team has been working hard to secure trades and materials affected by the disruption. The adoption of Covid safe plans and management systems has been of utmost importance.
At The Vale Stage 2-3, drainage infrastructure has been delivered to site, albeit a month late for the reasons mentioned above. Construction will progress through the roads and wetland construction in the south east corner of the site.
The Grove Townhouses are well progressed with most dwellings now painted. The builder will be focusing their efforts on townhouses 2 & 9 so the project can achieve practical completion in the couple of months. Construction at Bankbook Terraces has commenced with water and sewer works now complete.
The Childcare and Cafe works are moving steadily towards completion at the end of the year. Internal works are well progressed including electrical fit out, water proofing, plastering, and ceiling lining. Externally, the landscape works have commenced.
In the meantime, the construction approvals for The Vale Stage 4-6 have been lodged with Wollongong City Council.
