Welcome to the first Vista Park update for 2021!
2021 is sure to be a busy and exciting year for the Vista Park community, with multiple areas of the community under construction including The Grove Townhouses, The Vale Stage 1, Childcare centre and café at the Homestead. Many of these projects will be completed this year and many more new projects expected to start as well.
Despite a relatively wet January, works have continued to progress well at The Vale throughout February. Civil works are nearing completion, with the majority of services, kerbs and gutters completed. We just have a very large retaining wall to build and some landscaping works to achieve practical completion.
Landscape garden bed preparation has also been completed behind the sandstone retaining walls on the corner of Smiths Lane and Roy Sheargold Ave, with the remaining landscaping works anticipated to be completed by the end of April. It is incredibly rewarding to see the colour and vibrancy that landscaping adds to the community as one of the last steps of The Vale Stage 1.
At the Grove Townhouses slabs are down for all 10 dwellings and we expect frames to start arriving shortly. This project is sure to pick up pace once we get roofs on to escape the delays of inclement weather.
