Welcome to the July 2020 update for Vista Park!
July saw bulk earthworks for Stages 1-3 continue in anticipation of civil works with the sewer main being the first services to be installed. The geotechnical consultants have regularly attended the site to ensure that earthworks continue to comply with all the relevant regulations. The progress to date means that top soiling for Stage 1 civil works is due to start soon - a hugely exciting progress milestone! Bulk earthworks for Stage 2, which has its sales launch this weekend, are also nearing completion.
We would like to draw your attention to the fact we understand some people have been accessing The Vale construction site which is currently in possession of our Civil Contractor, Glennos Constructions. This access is being obtained without approval or supervision from a Glennos representative. We cannot stress enough how unsafe and dangerous this is with construction equipment, open trenches, survey pegs and star pickets all representing potential dangers of serious injury which we have unfortunately seen on other sites where unauthorised and unaccompanied access has been obtained to construction sites outside of hours. The site is securely fenced and signage is in place to make it quite clear that unauthorised entry is not allowed. Access could only be obtained by partially dismantling or climbing the site fencing. Please stay safe and stay out of the construction site.
That’s all for now - make sure to check back in August for the next Vista Park update and the last update for Winter!
