Welcome to the August 2020 update for Vista Park - the last update for winter!
As the weather begins to warm up, civil works continue to progress. Stage 1 cut and fill works have been completed, meaning that topsoil works will commence soon. This represents significant progress on the bulk earthworks front while import of material continues on stages 2-3. In the last month, our delivery team has focused on procurement of the construction materials, some of which is starting to arrive on site including stormwater pits, pipes and retaining wall blocks. Two types of retaining walls have commenced, the first being the two-tier sandstone retaining wall along the southern boundary of the homestead, the second being the inter-allotment masonry block retaining wall within the subdivision. There has also been significant progress on the sewer main construction as this is typically the deepest and therefore first service to be installed. There is plenty happening on site and as a result, we are doing our best to maintain the presentation of the streets outside the site. Street sweepers and water carts are constantly being employed to ensure the road are kept reasonably clean during the construction period.
That’s all for now - make sure to check back in September for the next Vista Park update and the first update for Spring!
