The inaugural Vista Park Gardening Competition entries have closed and our judging team (which includes ABC Radio Illawarra’s John Gabriele!) are sorting through many fabulous entries to announce the winners at this weekend’s Community Christmas Party.
It is great to see so many strong entries and some fun community competition. Thanks to everyone who entered. If you miss out on taking top honours, there is always next year!

Whilst on events, thanks to all those residents who came along to enjoy the inaugural Outdoor Cinema Night recently. Whilst the weather was a little unseasonal, we hope you enjoyed rugging up with popcorn in hand to watch The Greatest Showman with your neighbours and friends. Stay tuned for another Outdoor Cinema Night coming again in 2019.
In other news, we would like to give a shout-out to our Managing Director, Michael Sheargold, who has recently been appointed as President of the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) NSW. The UDIA were instrumental in the advocating against the West Dapto Jail plans thanks to their research paper. One of the founding members of the UDIA was Michael’s grandfather, the late Roy Sheargold.
