The Vale Stage 2&3

Good news! The Vale Stages 2 & 3 received practical completion from Wollongong City Council for all subdivision works including civils, landscaping, and the riparian corridor. Following this milestone, our delivery team submitted the subdivision certificate application with Council for both stages, with the hope of a quick turnaround for approval and subsequent registration.   By now you should have seen a letter from our solicitors with details about how to prepare for settlement (including preparing your finances).  Please ensure you are doing everything you can to prepare for settlement as registration is now imminent!

More good news in the month of August! We are pleased to announce that Wollongong City Council has granted the subdivision works certificate for The Vale Stage 4-6.  This permit triggered the finalisation of construction contracts, construction programs and commencement of sewer construction on site.  The civil contractor has already ordered some of the construction materials in anticipation, including stormwater pipes which typically has a 40-week lead time.  We are also using precast stormwater pits at additional cost to help mitigate the effect of inclement weather.  We are exploring other areas where time savings and program risks can be mitigated.  We look forward to providing further updates on construction over the next few months.

As mentioned above, Wollongong City Council has granted the subdivision works certificate for The Vale Stages 4-6.  At this stage, civil construction of Stages 5 and 6 is scheduled to commence in September. In the meantime, as the bulk earthworks for Stages 5 and 6 are progressing well with roads being marked out and lots levelled.

Bankbook Terraces

With the façade and external colour scheme of the terraces now in full view, the development adds yet another layer to the fabric of Vista Park, complementing the park and surrounding aesthetic. Internally, all flooring, appliance installation and electrical fittings are complete. The builder is now focussing on finishings, painting and then the final landscaping touches to complete the project in September.
