Development Manager’s Update - January 2023

Happy New Year Everyone! It was good to see some many people out at the Vista Park Community Christmas Party last month.  Thanks again to the team who worked hard to put the event together. The strength of community relationships that have grown over the years far exceeds the expectations we had when we first broke ground at Vista Park many years ago.

The Vale Stage 4

Well, the stage is set for 2023 to be another big year at Vista Park as we expect to achieve registration of the final 3 stages of the project.  The new year has brought a new look to Stage 4 with road works advancing to kerb construction.  Stormwater and sewer works are all but complete with the delivery team moving on to water, electrical and telecommunications works in the coming months.

The Vale Stage 5&6

Last year ended with the clearing of exotic vegetation (I.e. weeds!) within the creek corridor opposite Stage 5 & 6.  This will allow the delivery team to extend earthwork construction into the riparian corridor in accordance with the vegetation management plan.  The objective is to remove the weeds and/or exotic plants, regrade any excessively steep batter where erosion is likely to occur then plant native flora to return the creek line to a healthy state.  These riparian works will continue while the team prepares to commence full civil works in Stage 5 & 6.
