Welcome to the May 2022 update! The year is going by quickly and with every passing month we edge closer to completion.
This month the construction crew have completed installation of services and connections. Construction of concrete footpaths has continued and street trees are being planted along the new paths as they are constructed. On the southern boundary, large rocks have been placed in the the creek to minimise the risk of erosion while revegetation of the riparian corridor continues. Unfortunately, the wet weather continues to have a cascading effect and has delayed progress on the few steps still to be completed before registration. As a result, we now anticipate that these stages will now be registered in July 2022.
The DA modification is still under assessment by the Council. We are expect that a determination will be made this month. In the meantime the bulk earthworks and filling works continue within Stage 4 and part of Stage 5. Over the next month the construction crew will extend their footprint into Stage 5 then Stage 6. The program for completion of the bulk earthworks is currently August 2022 (subject to weather conditions).
This month the builder has completed framing and roofing of all dwellings. Façades of all dwelling have been partially installed and pre-sheeting works (i.e. internal plumbing, wiring, ac ducting and insulation) have been completed. Now that the roofs are completed, the dwellings are mostly shielded from inclement weather which will assist with progress going forward.
We look forward to providing you with another update next month. See you then!
